This fiction series, already translated in 80 languages, is available on December 14.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Adapted from the eponymous novel, the ten episodes take place in a professional ballet school, like L\u2019\u00c9cole sup\u00e9rieure. Sarah-Maude Lalibert\u00e9, <strong>the only Quebecer of the cast<\/strong>, plays a dancer. She shares the screen with dancers from Toronto and actors from New York and Los Angeles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The producers of <em>Tiny Pretty Things<\/em> were <strong>mindful to portray realistically the daily life of classical dancers<\/strong> in training according to the one who received her Performance program diploma in 2017. They also offered members of the cast a ballet class every day, even when they were not filming.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.esbq.ca\/workspace\/uploads\/fichiers\/2020_tiny_pretty_things_s-m_laliberte_1.jpeg\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>The director was open to listen to dancers on the set<\/strong>, who were not afraid to point out improbable situations. \u201cThe action is condensed for sure, but it\u2019s really what I live every day in class and in rehearsals.\u201d She continues: \u201cI liked playing a character. I think that my experience during shows like <em>Alice in Wonderland<\/em> with L\u2019Orchestre symphonique de Montr\u00e9al when I was a student at L\u2019\u00c9cole sup\u00e9rieure prepared me for this role.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sarah-Maude Libert\u00e9 is convinced that <em>Tiny Pretty Things<\/em> will touch people. \u201cI hope that it will create debates,\u201d she adds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">A Memorable Experience<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">From auditions to scenes filmed during the night, the <em>Tiny Pretty Things<\/em>\u2019 adventure was memorable on every level for Sarah-Maude Lalibert\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-pullquote\"><blockquote><p>\u201cAs a dancer, we were treated with a lot of consideration and we were really valued.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">She is already excited for the audience to discover the result of these months of intense work. The young dancer will have all the time she needs to watch all the episodes since she is forced to stay home with the cancellation of <em>The Nutcracker<\/em> shows by Les Grands Ballets, which usually keep her busy at this time of the year.
