Centre de céramique Bonsecours

Centre de Céramique Bonsecours (CCB), affiliated with the Cégep du Vieux Montréal since 1998, has a distinguished history as a center of ceramic art education, research, and innovation. Our three years program, Techniques de métier d’art – Option Céramique, is embedded in a learning community where technical and artistic skills converge through contemporary critical making and traditional savoir-faire.

About
the school

Our educational training aims to provide our students with all the important aspects of creation, design, and professional practice. It is guided by our team of professionals active in various realms of ceramics. They support students in becoming self-employed ceramist or establishing themselves in parallel careers. CCB supports the integration of its graduates in the ceramic community at large, who are among the most active ceramists in the field. The gallery space adjacent to the school is a stepping stone for our future professionals as well as a pillar in the promotion of ceramic art. Located in Old Montreal, Centre de Céramique Bonsecours and its Gallery are both involved in the local community while building bridges with cultural actors outside Montreal.
