About
the school

Founded in 1932, by the Sisters of the Holy Names of Jesus and Mary, École de musique Vincent-d’Indy has been a leading institution in the education of music in Quebec since its inception. The school’s activities are centered around three sectors: music programs at the college level, Musique-études programs at the elementary and secondary school levels, and music education for all. The school also supports a wide network of affiliated teachers.

The reputation of the school has been built around the musical and pedagogical skills of its distinguished faculty. Its primary mission is to offer personalized, structured, and advanced training in a human environment that offers rich musical experiences, both to the beginner and to the skilled musician who wishes to pursue advanced studies.
